Who watches the Watchmen? Plenty of people do and the buzz around the big-screen adaptation of Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons’ popular, award-winning graphic novel has just been turned up a notch with a slew of Watchmen goodies hitting the net.
The trailer for Woody Allen’s upcoming film “Vicky Cristina Barcelona” is out.
The film features several steamy love scenes, including a threesome between it’s stars, Scarlett Johansson, Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz, as well as a lesbian scene between Johansson and Cruz. “Vicky Cristina Barcelona” opens September 5th, 2008.
The isolated town of Barrow, Alaska, is plunged into complete darkness annually for an entire month. When most of the inhabitants head south for the winter, a mysterious group of bloodthirsty vampires plague the small town, ready to take advantage of the uninterrupted darkness to feed on the town’s residents.
“Lars and the Real Girl” stars Academy-Award nominated actor Ryan Gosling as Lars Lindstrom, a loveable introvert whose emotional baggage has kept him from fully embracing life.
After years of what is almost solitude, he invites Bianca, a friend he met on the internet to visit him. He introduces Bianca to his Brother Gus (Paul Schneider) and his wife Karen (Emily Mortimer) and they are stunned. They don‚Äö?Ñ?¥t know what to say to Lars or Bianca ‚Äö?Ñ?Æ because she is a life-size doll, not a real person and he is treating her as though she is alive.
“Lars and the Real Girl” was written by “Six Feet Under” scribe, Nancy Oliver and directed by Craig Gillespie. The film opens October 19th, 2007.
Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig star in “The Invasion,” a re-imagining of the 1956 sci-fi classic “Invasion of the Body Snatchers.” The film was directed by Oliver Hirschbiegel and is set for an August 17th, 2007 release.

The Casablanca inspired poster for Steven Soderbergh’s film-noir thriller The Good German. The film stars George Clooney as an American journalist who is lured into a murder mystery in post-war Berlin, while searching for his former mistress. Kate Blanchett and Toby Maguire co-star.
