Saturday Night Live cast member Jason Sudeikis, walking with a female friend into a residential building on 6th avenue off Waverly Place.
Sudeikis was dressed casual, wearing a baseball cap and blending in with the street crowd.
Tuesday, September 23rd:
Danny Glover at Magnolia Bakery (on Bleeker Street), stocking up on sweets. The staff stood and watched him in awe…while we made off with an extra cupcake, gratis.
Matthew Broderick (minutes later) just outside Magnolia walking the family pooch. SJP’s real-life Mr. Big was not waiting for Mr. Glover, they just happened to be within seconds of each other on the same block. Only in New York.
Thursday, September 25th:
Dylan McDermott walking down University Place around 5:30pm, blending in with the mad rush of people and NYU students heading home. Looks just as hot (and tall) in person as on screen.

(Above) Lauren Bacall as a young model on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar
The Hollywood icon (and New York City native) was leaving a supermarket on 81st Street on the Upper West Side (fast becoming one of my favorite areas).
Ms. Bacall was accompanied by her driver and not surprisingly, radiated elegance –like a real star should.
Vincent D’Onofrio filming something (Law & Order: Criminal Intent perhaps?) on 7th Avenue and 14th Street.
Geena Davis and Rosie Perez filming something as well, on East 9th Street between 1st Avenue and Avenue A.

Jamie Dornan was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland in 1982 to Jim Dornan, a prominent Northern Ireland obstetrician. He attended and boarded at Methodist College Belfast, where he first met David Alexander, who would become his songwriting partner in 2002, when they founded their two-piece Irish folk outfit, Sons of Jim. They called the band this as both Dornan’s and Alexander’s fathers were named Jim.

The ex model turned actor ( “Kiss Me Guido” ) and star of the Style network’s reality show “New York Nick”, was hanging out at Stereo night club with a small group of friends –on gay night.
Of course that doesn’t mean anything, straight guys hanging out at gay clubs in New York City are a common, every day occurrence –typically accompanied by a lot of tequila and the lines “my girlfriend never gives me head” or “I only tried this once before, in college”.
We’ll just file this one under “things that make you go hmmmmm.”

The cross-dressing star of The Brady Bunch movies and her own VH1 talk show “The Rupaul Show”, performed a quick number at Arena night club in Time Square last night, to promote her upcoming camp flick “Starbooty.”
Ru seemed somewhat dazed and confused as she faced the crowd and sang, not once cracking so much as a smile. Many of the patrons were left in a state of confusion themselves as she quickly exited the stage after one song, leaving no indication the show had ended. Hopefully this isn’t a sign that the fast-paced life of a “supermodel” is taking it’s toll on the drag diva.
Among the many spectators at the Suzanne Bartsch hosted event, was Village Voice gossip columnist and E! channel corespondent, Michael Musto.

The multi-talented star of “American Beauty”, “Se7en” and “Beyond The Sea”, was at Plumm last night, chatting with a group of friends in the club’s VIP section. Mr. Spacey was dressed impeccably in a suit and tie and unlike his “Superman Returns” alter ego Lex Luthor, sported a full head of hair.

Bebe Neuwirth ( Lilith on Cheers and Frasier ), behind me at the checkout line of my neighborhood Food Emporium. She was seemingly enthralled by the cover of a magazine on the checkout rack, a tabloid perhaps. Among her food items: a box of Ritz crackers and Oreos. Bebe is currently starring in the revival of Chicago on Broadway.
