The star of Ferris Buller and his wife Sarah Jessica Parker are neighbors, so it’s not unusual to see them about, what did come as a surprise was how much older he looked up close. A little dye job and the right lighting really does works wonders on film.

Former “Felicity” star Keri Russell heading down Greenwich towards 6th Avenue. Keri was looking down at the pavement and seemed to be in a hurry.
This is my second Keri encounter, some months back a friend of mine and I spotted Miss Russell at the Home Depot on 23rd street. She appeared lost as she navigated through a labyrinth of gaudy bathroom fixtures, sale priced air conditioners and the beer-bellied male employees from Queens. She eventually approached a salesperson and asked for help.
I pointed her out to my friend who had no clue who she was and we continued on our quest for wood molding. I never said the story was an interesting one.

Oscar winner Jessica Lange was taken by surprise when she was honored by New York City’s Film Society Of Lincoln Center on Monday night, when her celebrity pals took to the stage to talk about her short-comings. The Tootsie actress was paid the tribute by the renowned cinematic body in recognition of her contribution to film and television. Misery actress Kathy Bates took the stage with Joan Allen to make fun of Lange’s perceived lack of a sense of humor, with Allen saying, “Remember that time in the make-up room (on Bonneville) when she told us not to buy from Exxon because their profits were too high. She’s a laugh riot!” Scottish actor Alan Cumming recalled starring naked alongside Lange, who turns 57 tomorrow, in Titus. He said to her, “I don’t know what you’re talking about Jessica, but you’ve got fantastic tits.” To which she replied, “Please, if your hand weren’t there that thing would be halfway round my back.”
CW network’s “Aquaman” TV series spin-off “Mercy Reef” has hooked itself a new leading man – 28-year-old “Passions” star Justin Hartley says Aquaman TV.
In a surprise recasting, Hartley has been hired to play the lead role, A.C. Curry, in the drama pilot from Warner Bros. Television. Hartley replaces model Will Toale, who originally was cast in the role when the pilot was ordered by The WB.
Hartley will join Ving Rhames as lighthouse keeper McCaffery, and Denise Quinones as fighter pilot Rachel Starling.

RS: In “Jarhead,” you played a Marine. Is it time for us to get out of Iraq?
JG: Honestly, I’m feeling more like maybe we should.
RS: “Brokeback Mountain” is a breakthrough movie. Why do you think people oppose gay marriage?
JG: I don’t think I could give you a coherent reason. Ultimately, the movie is about the struggle of love…with a new way of looking at it. Whether it will change minds is not something you can know in the present moment.
RS: I’ve seen your butt at least twice this year.
JG: I respect that people are interested in that. I’m flattered by it. But I hope there are more important things in the stories that they’re moved by.
RS: You costarred with Jennifer Aniston in “The Good Girl.” What’s your take on her breakup with Brad?
JG: Are you kidding me? It’s none of my business. They’re both wonderful people.
RS: According to our informal office pool, you…not Matthew McConaughey?…should’ve been People’s sexiest man.
JG: You’re pinning me against him? I have no hard feelings. But I’ll challenge Matthew McConaughey in the kitchen any time.
Kuno Becker is a Mexican actor of telenovelas, the cinema of Mexico and the United States. In only a few years and thanks to the Televisa’’s high profile in Mexico, he has become one of the best-known young actors.
Born Eduardo Kuno Becker Paz on January 14, 1978 in Mexico City to a German father and Mexican mother, Kuno’’s career started out as a musician, he has played the violin since he was 5 years old and studied music in Salzburg, Austria and Nacional de Musica in Mexico. Kuno went on to study acting at the CEA of Televisa in Mexico.
He provided the voice of Cale in the Spanish-dubbing of the film Titan A.E., and also appeared in the 1997 film La Primera Noche. In 2002 Becker starred in the film La Hija Del Canibal (Lucia, Lucia) opposite the Argentine actress Cecilia Roth, and in 2005 he played the lead role of Santiago Munez for the film Goal!
Who cares if he’s gay? The real story is how the media randomly selects some unknown actor every new TV season and forces them down your throat to the point where you can’t stand to see the person. I call this phenomenon “Eva Langoria Syndrome” and it is spread through the brain-eating virus known as “Access Hollywood.” I’ll believe the hype if the series makes it a few seasons and anyone still cares by then.
