
32-year-old Sam Worthington is taking Hollywood by storm. Australia’s latest sensation can currently be seen opposite Christian Bale in “Terminator Salvation” and will be starring in two highly anticipated blockbusters, James Cameron’s “Avatar” and the remake of 80’s action epic, “Clash of the Titans.”

It’s always interesting to see the search queries which redirect readers to this site. Searches for Jamie Dornan, Barbara Daly Baekeland, Eva Mendes and Guys Gone Wild have dominated the Gotham Journal top 10 for quite some time, but this past week a new contender has risen to overwhelmingly take the top honor.
It seems internet surfers are on a relentless quest for images of “Star Trek” actor Chris Pine. Not just any images mind you, specifically nude pictures of Chris Pine.
Well ladies and Trekkers, it saddens me to say that as of this posting young Captain James T. Kirk’s career hasn’t required him to boldly go where no man has gone before, so you won’t be seeing his photon torpedo on display in this part of the galaxy any time soon. Well, almost.

Academy Award–winning actor, entrepreneur and humanitarian, Paul Newman, has died of cancer at his home in Westport, Connecticut. He was 83.

Actor Heath Ledger was found dead at a SoHo apartment this afternoon in what appeared to be a possible drug-related death, he was 28. Police sources said signs pointed to a suicide or an accidental overdose.

Ryan O’Neal makes his feature-film debut as hot-headed drifter Jack Ryan, a hard-luck GI smitten with a thrill-seeking party girl (Leigh Taylor-Young) who approaches him to help her rob the home of her boss/lover, an unscrupulous California farm owner.
Seduced into a spree of petty-crimes for kicks she calls “bounces”, Ryan reluctantly agrees to help with the big “bounce”, but becomes highly distrustful of his partner in crime, suspecting she may double-cross him to keep all the money for herself.

Jamie Dornan was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland in 1982 to Jim Dornan, a prominent Northern Ireland obstetrician. He attended and boarded at Methodist College Belfast, where he first met David Alexander, who would become his songwriting partner in 2002, when they founded their two-piece Irish folk outfit, Sons of Jim. They called the band this as both Dornan’s and Alexander’s fathers were named Jim.
