Ivanka

We don’t want to say we told you so, but we did.

Well kids, today came official word that Ivanka, 27, married Jared, 28, in a ceremony held at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, N.J., on Sunday.

Among the 500 guests were: Russell Crowe, Natalie Portman, Barbara Walters, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo and Regis Philbin, who sang for the new couple.

Ivanka, who got engaged on July 15, wore a Vera Wang gown inspired by Grace Kelly and is said to have converted to Judaism in order to marry Jared, who is Orthodox Jewish.

No Vacancies At Grey Gardens

Grey Gardens

Grey Gardens is getting some new tenants -and no, unlike many of the Beale’s acquaintances, the cats and raccoons are not making their way out of the woodwork to get a piece of all the recent Grey Gardens action.

WWD reports Grey’s current owners, Sally Quinn and her husband Ben Bradlee, have signed a five-year lease with popular Manhattan socials Boykin Curry and Celerie Kemble, who along with their clan will be residing at the iconic East Hampton estate come September.

“Ever since the couple bought Grey Gardens from Little Edie Beale in 1979, they have rented it out, save for the month of August when they use the home. The last inhabitants, Quinn said, lived there for 12 years. Curry and Kemble’s five-year contract is the lengthiest that’s been issued. Neither party disclosed the rental price, but in May it was rumored Quinn and Bradlee were asking $30,000 for Aug. 28 through Sept. 7 alone.”

Not So Blind Item

Barron and PC

From The New York Daily News comes this blind item:

“Which allegedly bisexual hotel heir is getting it on with an N.Y.-based male reality TV star?”

It doesn’t take a genius to figure this one out, all one needs to do is head over to the bowels of Page Six and dig up this little tidbit:

“BIillionaire Pete Peterson is said to be ‘mortified’ over the sneering performance of his grandson PC on Bravo’s ‘NYC Prep.’ ‘Pete is really upset,’ a friend said. PC — whose official bio says, ‘Money, women and life’s spoils are all he’s ever known’ — is seen bragging and picking on younger kids. The insider added, ‘He was kicked out of several schools and the family cut him off at one point. He’s doing this show to get an acting career.’ Good Luck! Last week, PC was spotted getting ’super touchy-feely’ with Barron Hilton at the Gramercy Park Hotel. A Bravo rep had no comment.

Mystery solved! Those Hilton kids sure do have a taste for Greek…and who can blame them.

Brad And Angie Rent Long Island Estate

The Sassafras

Word has it that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are considering moving their clan into the Long Island’s Sassafras estate temporarily, while Angelina films her upcoming CIA spy movie “Salt.”

Nassau County Executive Thomas Suozzi let the information slip recently when it was announced that the Hollywood actress would be on location at the former Grumman facility in Bethpage. A spokesman says, Suozzi “wanted to add to the intrigue and help market the movie,” by letting the cat out of the bag.

The Sassafras The Sassafras

The 60 million dollar estate, located in the pricey Lloyd Neck area of Long Island, includes a 22,000 square foot Tudor-style main house, two helipads, a private dock, and an 11-bedroom staff house. Sound cozy.

Capote's Hamptons Home Goes Up For Sale

Truman Capote’s former Hamptons saltbox home, which he purchased for $800,000 in 1993 from the Nature Conservancy, has been put on the market for $14.6 million by it’s current owner, Artist Ross Bleckner.

“The artist restored and enlarged the home, which is in Southampton’s hamlet of Sagaponack and sits on four acres near the beach, adjacent to a nature preserve. Lily Pond Lane
The house on Lily Pond Lane as seen in the documentary “Grey Gardens”

A historic house on Lily Pond Lane in East Hampton was destroyed by fire at midday on Saturday, February 9th.

Built in 1905 for Edward T. Cockcroft, the hose was designed by Harrie T. Lindberg and garnered much attention, appearing on the cover of House and Garden. “According to “Hampton’s Heritage: An Illustrated Architectural Record,” Lindberg designed four houses on Lily Pond Lane using a roof technique that became his trademark.
